St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Hendon

Diocesean RE Inspections provides an opportunity to support, challenge, evaluate and promote the work of Catholic schools and colleges. It also enables the Diocese to celebrate with schools their sense of identity and their strengths as Catholic schools.

The head of inspection for the Diocese, Nancy Conoboy, sent us a letter to congratulate us on the very successful inspection. In that letter she pointed out: 

• The structures and systems put in place have certainly raised standards in Religious Education and improved pupils’ religious literacy. 
• It is wonderful to read that RE enjoys a high profile at St Joseph’s and that there is a shared vision for the future development of the subject.    
• You and your team have developed a happy Catholic community where partnerships are central. 
• There is no doubt that your focus on community and Gospel values will continue to bear fruit and ensure that St Joseph’s remains a place where pupils learn, grow and love.
